WolfCreek Labradors
Just wanted to give you an update! Hawk is
such a great dog! He's had a busy week. I've taken him to Meghan's school bus
stop all week long and he loves it! As soon as the bus comes, he sits and
watches it stop, go up the street and turn around, then come back. He won't
leave until it's out of sight. He's gotten good on his leash, too. And also is
getting good at "sit". Plus he definitely knows what "treats" are! Monday we
took him trick or treating. We knew he couldn't walk the whole way and we
couldn't carry him for long so we got out the stroller. ha! He rode in the
stroller very nicely and got a lot of attention! He loved everyone, costumes and
all! :) He's met a lot of people this week....kids' friends, UPS guy and even a
Richfield police officer who stopped to play with him while Alyssa had him out
getting the mail.
Hawk is doing well in his crate, too. He goes in there sometimes on his own just
to lay down and take a nap. And he's been good at night, too.
I took him to his vet appointment Thursday. Everyone loved him! The vet didn't
want to let him leave the office. She kissed and hugged him the whole time. She
commented on how well behaved he was. Then he stole her stethoscope and tried to
run off with it. :) He's so darn cute. And growing!
Just wanted to keep you updated on how he's doing. He's such a great puppy! I'll
keep sending updates now and then so you know how he's doing...and growing!
Those paws are big!
Have a good weekend!

Dear Adele,
Our wonderful Luke grows in leaps and bounds. Our vet thinks he is very gorgeous
and gives you great kudos on his confirmation and handsomeness.
He is healthy and happy and having a grand time in life. He is in puppy
kindergarten and doing well. He has had lots of other people and other place
experiences. We took him up to the lake last weekend and he took to the water
with ease. There was slushy ice at the edge of the water and he romped through
that. He got to dig in sand on the beach for the first time Life is great with
our boy Luke! Thanks again Margot

Hi Mark & Adele,
I thought I would take a minute to let you know that Hunter has adapted very well to his new home. He did very well his first night alone from his brothers and sisters. He went to the vet on Wednesday and everything checked out well. He is so much fun!!!This past week has been a real challenge with the amount of rain we received and the numerous trips to the yard to house train him. He loves his crate. We keep the door open when we are around and he will go in by himself and take a nap.Everything to him is new and curious! It takes him a long time to go for walks do to the fact he has to stop and look at everything. He is eating and drinking well and is full of energy!!!
There are a lot of smiles and laughing at our house.
Thank You
Fred E

It's official he's Otis and it's perfect!!! He did great in the car and loved Petsmart. We have a vet appt. on Monday morning at Creekside and are now preparing for our first evening!! Thanks so much for everything Mark and Adele, our girl is happy again. ~Greg and Nicole~
Hi Adele! Hope all is well with you and your family as Easter quickly approaches. Just wanted to tell you how wonderful it is having Otis! We recently lost Greg's Dad after a very long battle. This has been a very hard time for Olivia, she was very close to him and visited at least 4 times a week at the nursing home. Let me tell you, our boy Otis has been a Godsend! He follows Liv everwhere and rarely is she out of his sight! He is always "in our pockets" but even more so lately. We talk about you all the time and are telling everyone to check out your new pups!! So cute! Anyway thanks so much for bringing Otis into our lives and have a Blessed Easter~ Nicole O

Hi Mark & Adele,
We are having a wonderful summer with Nala! She is such a curious, fearless,
energetic little girl. We usually get worn out before she does (we try to work
in shifts). She loves chasing whatever we throw, playing in the water, running
in the yard, and, of course, chewing anything she can get a hold of.
No matter where we go, she immediately becomes the center of attention. She is
so beautiful, everyone wants to pet her and play with her. I have some "non-dog"
people in my family, and even they have said they would want a dog like her. She
is awesome with all the attention. She just takes to any situation so easily.

Teddy is getting so big, he is smart he is staying,
sitting, retrieving, and coming on command. Has slept thru the night since day
one. He has been a wonderful dog. I love working with him he picks up things
quickly which makes it enjoyable.
Hope all is well
Jeff

Hi Adele,
We remain thrilled and happy with Caesar.
We attended Puppy School at Papp's
Dog Services with Caesar, and we're now in the second week of the Beginner's
Obedience Class. We truly
believe that you and Mark did a marvelous job in your basic socializing with
Caesar and, I'm sure, with all of his litter mates. He's a bouncy happy dog,
and you can actually see his thoughts working as he meets new situations
Many thanks for all your help. Sincerely, Marianne

Hi Adele,
I just wanted to let you know that our first week with Tucker has been a joy. He
is so smart! And cuter than cute! Tim is in love with this little puppy and I've
not seen him this happy, calm, or relaxed in a long, long time. I just knew this
little guy was exactly what he needed in his life at this time.
His official AKC name is Sir Friar Tuck of WolfCreek and the papers have been
sent in.
I've attached a pic of him on my deck. I only had about 937 pictures to choose
from!
Hope all is well for you and you are resting after this exhausting experience.
You did a great job though!!!!
Please keep in touch and let me know how my original little boy is doing and if
he got placed with a family... I think of him often.
Thanks for everything and talk to you soon,
Angela

Hi Adele!
We ended up naming him Rocky and we are having a wonderful time with him. He
learns very quickly! He comes consistently and knows his name. He was mouthing
the boys legs as they ran yesterday, but after only a couple of times he quit.
He starts to chase and open his mouth as they run by, but it's like he remembers
and then stops himself.
He said Rocky is really healthy with a great temperament
Thanks so much for everything. We love Rocky!

House breaking is coming along good, we had family staying here the past

is adapting to his crate very well. He has sit command good, working on down,
and walking on loose leash is coming along. 50 ft, then sits to check out
something be it a car or motorcycle or a person walking across the street, and
always checking out smells.
He has been swimming once but dont want to push him on that. But we do have a

Some notes about My Dog Jake
********************
Dear Mark,
My heart goes out to you and your family at this time. I know that someday i will also be faced with losing a my true girl. I bought Daisy from you six years ago, the last pup to go from your July litter. She is the dog that sets standards for all dogs that I will have in my life time. Daisy is the daughter of Casey and your beloved Jake. She is as loyal as the day is long..... just as her father. She is a terrific swimmer and dock diver and has entertained many friends and family on a Sunday afternoon at our lake house....just as her father. What a wonderful legacy Jake has created by bringing joy, happiness, and true companion ships in many of peoples hearts. How proud you must be for having such a loyal and loving friend as " My dog Jake".

I saw on your web site that your dog Jake passed away in 2008. Just wanted you to know that I got one of Jake's puppies from Norita Blue in Norton 5 years ago. My dog, also named Jake after his champion father, is just a wonderful, very smart black lab. Now 5 years old as of Aug. 24th he is my 3rd black lab and the best one ever! I have an in-ground pool at my house in Strongsville (of course Jake swims) and a house at Put-in-Bay, South Bass Island where Jake enjoys the ferry rides, island walks, lake swims and meeting tourists.
Thought you would enjoy hearing about one of your Jake's descendents.
